An Evening in the Garden 5/16
We’re opening our cut flower garden to visitors for the first time this season through a series of garden-based workshops. This will be the first! Join us for a tour, learn from our grower Hannah about our regenerative and organic gardening practices, learn a bit about what it takes to grow flowers and food in an urban backyard, and cut some favorite blooms to take home.
The class will start at 6 pm on Thursday, May 16th in our Garden off Lake Wheeler Road in Raleigh, and finish around 7:30 pm.
We’ll serve cold drinks to ease the heat and provide all the tools you need for harvesting and taking home your flowers. Please wear closed-toed shoes and clothing that will protect you from the elements. Those with sensitive skin may benefit from long sleeves and long pants when cutting flowers - contact with certain plants may cause mild irritation. We’ll have bug spray on-hand, but you may want to apply that beforehand along with sunscreen.
*Note: due to the limitation of space available, purchased classes are non-refundable. Price includes sales tax.
