Garden Flower Bucket
Our new Garden Bucket offering is for all you DIY-loving flower friends who want to play with flowers on your own time and with your own vases. We have an abundance of fresh, chemical-free flowers and foliage growing in our Raleigh garden, and we want to share them with you. Through these buckets, we aim to give you a headstart on creating the kind of ethereal, aromatic, sustainable arrangements we love to make. Each bucket will contain between 30-50 total stems (depending on what’s blooming - some stems are cheaper to produce than others), comprising a harmonious mix of focal flowers, filler flowers, textural interest, and foliage. The buckets will be filled with our signature aesthetic in mind; what you’ll find in your bucket echoes the kind of mix we would cut to make a custom Wylde arrangement. Color palettes will vary weekly and be inspired by what’s looking best in the garden at that moment, so we cannot accommodate color requests.
Our Garden Bucket is available as part of our Friday Flower offering and can be delivered within our 7-mile delivery zone radius or picked up curbside from our East Raleigh design studio.
Cut flower care is straightforward: always start with a well-sanitized vessel and keep the water refreshed throughout the life of your arrangements. When you receive your bucket, we recommend replacing it with clean, cool water if you aren’t going to start arranging immediately. Make sure whichever vases you choose to design in are well sanitized and filled about ¾ of the way with clean water. Make sure to strip the stems of any leaves that are below the waterline; leaves underwater create speedy bacterial growth and hasten flowers’ demise. If you can remember, along with changing the water, give all the stem ends a snip every couple of days to extend their life; a fresh cut helps them continue to drink water. However you choose to arrange your flowers, make sure they are out of direct sunlight, and out of the reach of nibbling pets (some botanicals may be poisonous).
